This drawing of a rooster pheasant was done as a donation for a Ducks Unlimited banquet. In my opinion, there are few things prettier then a rooster in the snow (in color, or black and white). The contrast and detail in their feathers compliment the subtle simplicity of snow. I'm sure there's more pheasant images in my future. ....especially since we've now moved to South Dakota.
